About the wine

The noble red grape variety Syrah is cultivated in selected vineyards on the slopes of Mt Vermion producing a wine with a deep ruby colour, rich velvety taste and aromas of fruit of the forest, pepper and other spices. It accompanies ideally game and other red meat as well as spicy cheese.

Vinification

Selected vineyards, attentive grape harvest in containers of 20 kg    capacity in order to avoid crushing and oxidation during transportation. Classical method of red wine vinification with extraction of 5 - 6 days at 28 to 30° C. Defermentation and malolactic fermentation follow. Mixture before ageing.

9 months in barrel and 3 months in bottle

Bouquet / Palate

Wine with deep ruby color, aromas reminiscent of forest fruit, pepper and spices. Rich, velvety flavor with a spicy character and rich structure.
